This is Shama Viola, a 71 year old damanhurian citizen.
Shama grew up in Ravenna, Italy, and lived there until the age of 24 when she felt the need to have more individual freedom and moved to the United States. One day she read an article in the newspaper about this Italian community that had dug a temple inside the mountain. Nine years later she visited Damanhur for the first time, and she knew that this community would become her home.
Today, her role in Damanhur is to guide people to the Temples of Humankind, do spiritual readings using tarot cards and hold courses such as the Past Lives Research course. She feels deeply connected to the spiritual realm of the world and of the community.
