Aythya Pimpinella moved to Damanhur from Rome, Italy. She decided to come and live in the community because she recognized herself in the vision that Falco, the founder, brought. She felt that the philosophy and way of life resembled how she wanted to live and that it could be a good place also to raise her children. In Damanhur, she uses her artistic talent by painting on silk that’s mainly transformed into clothing.
For the future she hopes that the world can get to know Damanhur better, and understand how precious the experience of Damanhur is, not only for the damanhurians, but as an example of a new, sustainable society model for the whole world.
