Sonata for a Chestnut
When plants play music with human beings, it is always moving, and there was an indescribable feeling that was shared by everyone present during a duet with a chestnut tree and Maurizio Verna, guitarist and composer from Ivrea, Italy. Maurizio performed in the Sacred Woods Temple during an end-of-summer evening, creating harmonies that were so intense that they left everyone speechless.
A concert rich with resonance in the magical setting of the woods, it was the culmination of a truly special afternoon. Many guests received divination readings from Damanhurians – tarot cards, the 7 Stones, the Book of Synchronicity, sipped hot tea made with herbs from the woods, and walked the labyrinths.
Many people who had never visited the Sacred Woods Temple before had a chance to discover it and get to know something about the Damanhurians living in the communities around the hill of Etulte. Also, a lot of people who have lived in Damanhur for many years were present, and it was a pleasure for them to attend this special concert as well, where Damanhurians songs of the vocal group Magjical were also performed.
The only thing left to do is to thank all those who organized such a beautiful evening… and in particular Maurizio Verna, the chestnut tree and the Woods!
